The effect of cultivars, culture media, explant type and wounding on culture response of anthurium were studied. Valantino gave the highest callus formation (83.73%) significantly different from Sonat (78.73%) and Plew Thien Phuket (45.66%).

It shows how, within ballads and pamphlets, suicide resulting from failed courtship was often portrayed as romantic and an expression of devotion.
