New Pyranocoumarins Isolated from Calophyllum lanigerum and Calophyllum teysmannii [PDF]
During a chemotaxonomic survey of Calophyllum extracts present in the National Cancer Institute's natural product repository, four new pyranocoumarins were isolated from extracts of C. lanigerum var. austrocoriaceum and C. teysmannii var. inophylloide (King.) P. F. Stevens (Clusiaceae).

Secondary Metabolites from Calophyllum Sclerophyllum and Calophyllum Hoseii [PDF]
Calophyllum spp have been known for their biological activities. This genus belongs to the Guttifereae family where are rich with secondary metabolites such as xanthones, flavonoids and coumarins. Our recent phytochemical study on the bark of Calophyllum sclerophyllum and Calophyllum hoseii has led to the isolation of six xanthones, one coumarin and ...

Intraspecific Trait Variation in Tree Species Responds to Environmental Heterogeneity at Range-Wide but Not Local Scales. [PDF]
Here we explore the relationship between ITV, spatial and temporal environmental heterogeneity, and the breadth of species' environmental distributions for 33 tree species across eight sites across marked environmental gradients in Puerto Rico. Species with greater across‐site ITV in wood density and LMA occurred over broader ranges of potential ...
