Service Period, Calving Interval and Dry Period in Italian Buffaloes
Zentralblatt für Veterinärmedizin Reihe A, 2010Summary The average lengths of service period (96.6 ± 78.6, 83.4 ± 80.6 days), calving interval (407.2 ± 77.5 days) and dry period (151.1 ± 55.8 days) are reported in Italian buffaloes. The correlation (r = 0.991) between service period and calving interval was highly significant (P < 0.01).
