During camera calibration, the plane target image is required to occupy most of the whole image, and the focused image is also needed. It is difficult to satisfy these conditions in large-scale structural vision measurement.

Calibrating a Robot Camera [PDF]
This paper addresses the problem of calibrating a camera mounted on a robot arm. The objective is to estimate the camera's intrinsic and extrinsic parameters. These include the relative position and orientation of camera with respect to robot base as well as the relative position and orientation of the camera with respect to a pre-defined world frame ...

3D Vision by Using Calibration Pattern with Inertial Sensor and RBF Neural Networks
Camera calibration is a crucial prerequisite for the retrieval of metric information from images. The problem of camera calibration is the computation of camera intrinsic parameters (i.e., coefficients of geometric distortions, principle distance and ...

Rolling Shutter Camera Calibration [PDF]
Rolling Shutter (RS) cameras are used across a wide range of consumer electronic devices-from smart-phones to high-end cameras. It is well known, that if a RS camera is used with a moving camera or scene, significant image distortions are introduced.

Camera Autocalibration and the Calibration Pencil [PDF]
We study the geometric object given by the set of lines incident with the absolute conic. We see that this object is given by a pencil of quadrics of P5, which is characterized. We describe some of its most relevant properties for the camera autocalibration problem.

On single-scanline camera calibration [PDF]
A method for calibrating single scanline CCD cameras is described. It is shown that the more classical 2D camera calibration techniques are necessary but not sufficient for solving the 1D camera calibration problem. A model for single scanline cameras is proposed, and a two-step procedure for estimating its parameters is provided.

Improvements to Target-Based 3D LiDAR to Camera Calibration
The rigid-body transformation between a LiDAR and monocular camera is required for sensor fusion tasks, such as SLAM. While determining such a transformation is not considered glamorous in any sense of the word, it is nonetheless crucial for many modern ...

Paracatadioptric camera calibration
Catadioptric sensors refer to the combination of lens-based devices and reflective surfaces. These systems are useful because they may have a field of view which is greater than hemispherical, providing the ability to simultaneously view in any direction. Configurations which have a unique effective viewpoint are of primary interest, among these is the

Information-Theoretic Online Multi-Camera Extrinsic Calibration
Calibration of multi-camera systems is essential for lifelong use of vision-based headsets and autonomous robots. In this work, we present an information-based framework for online extrinsic calibration of multi-camera systems.
