DIGITAL CAMERA CALIBRATION USING IMAGES TAKEN FROM AN UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE [PDF]

open access: yesThe International Archives of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences, 2012
For calibrating the camera, an accurate determination of the interior orientation parameters is needed. For more accurate results, the calibration images should be taken under conditions that are similar to the field samples.

Analysis of camera parameters value in various object distances calibration [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
In photogrammetric applications, good camera parameters are needed for mapping purpose such as an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) that encompassed with non-metric camera devices.

Patient therapy outcome modeling in cancer organoids is improved by cancer‐associated fibroblasts and organoid assembly convolution

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Patient‐derived organoids (PDOs) from pancreatic, colorectal, and gastric cancers were used to evaluate standard and experimental therapies. Incorporating cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) into organoid cultures improved patient therapy outcome prediction.

Camera Calibration from Symmetry [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
This paper addresses the problem of calibrating a pinhole camera from images of a surface of revolution. Camera calibration is the process of determining the intrinsic or internal parameters (i.e. aspect ratio, focal length and principal point) of a camera, and is important for both motion estimation and metric reconstruction of 3D models.

Mycobacterial cell division arrest and smooth‐to‐rough envelope transition using CRISPRi‐mediated genetic repression systems

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
CRISPRI‐mediated gene silencing and phenotypic exploration in nontuberculous mycobacteria. In this Research Protocol, we describe approaches to control, monitor, and quantitatively assess CRISPRI‐mediated gene silencing in M. smegmatis and M. abscessus model organisms.

Effect of terahertz irradiation on DNA damage repair in living cells

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We investigated the effect of terahertz (THz) wave irradiation on DNA double‐strand break (DSB) repair in living cells. We found that THz irradiation enhanced DSB repair at specific frequencies, whereas heat treatment inhibited it, indicating that this effect is nonthermal and frequency‐specific.

Multi‐camera traffic scene mosaic based on camera calibration

open access: yesIET Computer Vision, 2021
Recently, the traffic application based on vision in the single traffic‐monitoring scene has been widely studied and developed. However, cross‐regional research is still in its infancy.

A Novel and Simplified Extrinsic Calibration of 2D Laser Rangefinder and Depth Camera

open access: yesMachines, 2022
It is too difficult to directly obtain the correspondence features between the two-dimensional (2D) laser-range-finder (LRF) scan point and camera depth point cloud, which leads to a cumbersome calibration process and low calibration accuracy. To address

Towards dynamic camera calibration for constrained flexible mirror imaging [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Flexible mirror imaging systems consisting of a perspective camera viewing a scene reflected in a flexible mirror can provide direct control over image field-of-view and resolution. However, calibration of such systems is difficult due to the vast range
