Online camera calibration method for pose vision measurement system of roadheader in underground coal mines

open access: yesMeitan xuebao
Visual measurement is widely used for the position and orientation measurement of roadheaders in coal mines due to its simple system and non-contact nature.

Self-Calibration of a Moving Camera by Pre-Calibration [PDF]

open access: yesProcedings of the British Machine Vision Conference 1996, 1996
We consider the problem of self-calibrating a moving camera which is equipped with a zoom lens. This consists essentially in estimating the 5 intrinsic parameters of the pinhole camera model. However, these parameters are not independent. Thus, we propose to do a pre-calibration of the camera, with the aim to model the interdependence of the intrinsic ...

Camera Self-Calibration for the ARToolkit

open access: yes, 2002
Camera calibration is an essential and important part of an Augmented Reality (AR) system. The use of a planebased calibration technique can give a good accuracy, which can be important for AR applications.

A Molecular Shielding Strategy to Develop Low Protein Binding, Renal Clearable Pan‐Cancer Near‐Infrared Probes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A molecular shielding strategy to convert “protein‐sticky” and “non‐tumor specific” clinical ICG dye, into a “low protein binding” and “tumor‐targeting” dye with prolonged blood circulation and renal clearance is described. These shielded ICGs demonstrate strong tumor accumulation and optimal tissue clearance, resulting in high tumor‐to‐background ...

Hand–eye calibration using a target registration error model

open access: yesHealthcare Technology Letters, 2017
Surgical cameras are prevalent in modern operating theatres and are often used as a surrogate for direct vision. Visualisation techniques (e.g. image fusion) made possible by tracking the camera require accurate hand–eye calibration between the camera ...

Pickering‐Engineered Microparticles for Magnetically Guided Motion and Light‐Triggered Catalysis

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Magnetically responsive wax microparticles stabilized by hematite cubes through the Pickering emulsification strategy are developed, showing controlled size, motion, and light‐activated catalytic activity. Annealing under a magnetic field enhances their mobility and steering.

Line scan camera calibration for fabric imaging [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
textFabric defects inspection is a vital step for fabric quality assessment. Many vision-based automatic fabric defect detection methods have been proposed to detect fabric flaws efficiently and accurately. Because the inspection methods are vision-based,

Vorticity‐Driven µ‐Platelet Rotation and Selective Packing for Vertical Thermal–Electrical Interconnects

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We introduce a capillary‐filtering‐based particle‐filling (CFPF) process that simultaneously forms vertical thermal pathways and electrical vias within µ‐pores. In situ microfluidic analysis reveals that capillary‐driven velocity gradients generate vorticity that governs µ‐platelet rotation and vertical alignment.

Semi-automatic metric reconstruction of buildings from self-calibration: preliminary results on the evaluation of a linear camera self-calibration method

open access: yes, 2000
In this paper, we investigate the linear self-calibration method proposed by Newsam et al [7] for our project on 3D reconstruction of architectural buildings.

Robust Camera Calibration for Sport Videos using Court Models

open access: yes, 2004
We propose an automatic camera calibration algorithm for court sports. The obtained camera calibration parameters are required for applications that need to convert positions in the video frame to real-world coordinates or vice versa.
