CAN bus analyzer and emulator

2009 4th International Design and Test Workshop (IDT), 2009
A need arises when using CAN buses to monitor the data on the bus as well as having the ability to inject further data onto it. This provides the ability to fully test a CAN network on both the frame level and the bit level. This paper introduces a new CAN bus analyzer and emulator.

HERMES travels by CAN bus

SPIE Proceedings, 2014
The new HERMES spectrograph represents the first foray by AAO into the use of commercial off-the-shelf industrial field bus technology for instrument control, and we regard the final system, with its relatively simple wiring requirements, as a great success.

Scheduling the CAN bus with earliest deadline techniques

Proceedings 21st IEEE Real-Time Systems Symposium, 2002
Controller area networks (CANs) are widely used in real-time automobile control and are gaining wider acceptance as a standard for factory automation. This paper discusses the applicability of earliest-deadline-first (EDF) techniques to the scheduling of CAN messages.

Can Bus Communication Modelling

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 2003
Abstract In a distributed control systems the internal communication bus represents a critical technology component that interconnects particular control system elements. Efficiency of a communication inside the distributed control system is relied using an appropriate industrial bus.

Complete hardware and software bench for the CAN bus

2016 IEEE International Conference on Consumer Electronics (ICCE), 2016
Nowadays, the automotive industry has increasingly to integrate electronic systems in cars, but it causes an important problem relating to their reliability. For getting that reliability better it is necessary a great cost using current methods and equipment. This paper explains an application that may help to reduce the cost for testing cars.

Reliable Assessment of CAN Bus

2007 8th International Conference on Electronic Measurement and Instruments, 2007
Based on the most impossible fault path method the paper proposes to create a reliable model to the network structure of CAN bus with the intelligent node. By computing, we can see that the average non-fault working time MTF of CAN bus declines with the enhancement of the system lapsed time n in the maximum transmission time.

The application research of CAN bus in the city-bus control system

2010 International Conference on Mechanic Automation and Control Engineering, 2010
With the increasing number of vehicle-mounted electronic devices, the traditional communication mode of point-to-point connection cannot meet the requirements, in order to overcome the limitations of the traditional communication mode, to realize DS(data sharing), to carry out real-time control of driving conditions, CAN bus technology came into being.

PRIMJENA CAN BUS PROTOKOLA

2022
The subject of this undergraduate thesis is car speed measurement using sensors and CAN bus communication. Before starting, it is necessary to get acquainted with all components and their roles. Controller Area Network (CAN) is a communication protocol for connecting electronic devices, and communication takes place via serial bus on which there can be
