Susceptibility to cyflumetofen in populations of the citrus leprosis mite, Brevipalpus yothersi, from Brazilian citrus orchards. [PDF]

open access: yesPest Manag Sci
Brevipalpus yothersi, the vector of citrus leprosis virus, showed high susceptibility to cyflumetofen. Its low resistance suggests it is effective, but should be rotated with other acaricides with different modes‐of‐action for sustainable management.

Effect of Lectins from Diocleinae Subtribe against Oral Streptococci

open access: yesMolecules, 2011
Surface colonization is an essential step in biofilm development. The ability of oral pathogens to adhere to tooth surfaces is directly linked with the presence of specific molecules at the bacterial surface that can interact with enamel acquired ...

Fluorinated Glycan Frameshifts: Automated Synthesis Expedites the Study of Glycan‐Protein Interactions by 19F‐BioNMR

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 12, 16 March 2026.
Given the prominence of 19F‐bioNMR in structural research, fluorinated glycans hold enormous potential in glycomimetic frameshift design. However, challenges associated with the stereocontrolled synthesis of these disruptive actors continue to frustrate advances. To address this, the automated synthesis of selectively C‐2 fluorinated glycans related to

Tuning catalytic activity and sensitivity in urease‐based thin film biosensors using conjugated polymers and eugenol/biseugenol

open access: yesPolymer International, EarlyView.
Hybrid thin films of conjugated polymers and urease modified with eugenol derivatives show that polymer–biomolecule interactions enhance catalytic activity while distinctly modulating electrolyte–insulator–semiconductor sensor sensitivity. Abstract Thin films have emerged as promising platforms for biosensor development due to their versatility and ...
