Cancer incidence and mortality in the Caribbean

In this paper, we analyzed incidence and mortality rates of the major cancers in the Bahamas, Barbados, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, and Trinidad and Tobago, and compared them with US patterns.

Abstract All tumors classified by the Connecticut Tumor Registry which had a single peak incidence at age greater than 50 were found to have similar patterns of incidence as a function of age.
