Prevalence, Diagnostic Accuracy, and Antimicrobial Resistance Patterns of Uropathogens in Urinary Tract Infections at a Health Facility in Kumasi, Ghana

open access: yesMicrobiologyOpen, Volume 14, Issue 5, October 2025.
The prevalence of urinary tract infections, and antibiotic susceptibility pattern of the bacterial isolates were investigated among patients. The findings suggest an increasing rate of antibiotics resistance among the bacterial isolates, and a high prevalence rate of UTIs among women.
