Characterization of the DNA of Canine Adenovirus by Restriction Enzyme Analysis
Intervirology, 1985 The DNA of canine adenovirus (canAV 1, strain Behring H.c.c. 269) was characterized in detail. The molecular weight of canAV DNA was (20.1 +/- 0.1) x 10(6) daltons as determined by contour length measurements, and 19.9 x 10(6) daltons as determined by restriction enzyme analysis.

A Case of Canine Respiratory Adenovirus Infection Associated with Distemper
The Japanese Journal of Veterinary Science, 1980 気管支・細気管支上皮の壊死, 気管支上皮の増殖が特徴的な肺炎を呈した. 3力月齢の仔犬の舌・咽頭・喉頭・食道・気管・肺に, 好塩基性・Feulgen陽性の核内封入体と好酸性核内・細胞質内封入体を認めた. 前者には螢光抗体法で犬アデノウイルス(CAV)抗原を確認した. 感染上皮細胞中には電顕により, CAV粒子およびジステンパーウイルスのnucleocapsid様構造を認めた。
