A final act of love: The decision-making experience of Malaysian owners electing companion animal euthanasia

open access: yesHuman-Animal Interactions
Companion animal owners (CAOs) may resonate with the struggle that life rests on their hands to say yes or no when considering companion animal euthanasia (CAE). This can lead to guilt, doubt, and self-blame, increasing complicated grief risks.

Wigner quantum oscillators. Osp(3/2) oscillators

open access: yes, 1994
The properties of the three-dimensional noncanonical osp(3/2) oscillators, introduced in J.Phys. A: Math. Gen. {\bf 27} (1994) 977, are further studied. The angular momentum M of the oscillators can take at most three values M=p-1,p,p+1, which are either

SMAD4 Palmitoylation Drives a Metabolic‐Transcriptional Circuit to Promote Tumorigenesis and Confers Radiosensitivity in Pancreatic Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies palmitoylation as a novel regulatory modification of SMAD4, mediated by ZDHHC22/APT2. It activates fatty acid synthesis, creating a self‐reinforcing SMAD4–FASN–palmitate feedback loop that drives pancreatic cancer growth and enhances radiotherapy sensitivity.

Juegos metamiméticos, caos y cooperación [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010

Highest weight irreducible representations of the Lie superalgebra $gl(1/\infty)$

open access: yes, 1998
Two classes of irreducible highest weight modules of the general linear Lie superalgebra $gl(1/\infty)$ are constructed. Within each module a basis is introduced and the transformation relations of the basis under the action of the algebra generators are

O‐GlcNAcylated TAP1 Impairs Antigen Presentation and Promotes Immune Evasion in Bladder Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This article unveils a critical mechanism of immune evasion in bladder cancer, which the O‐GlcNAc modification of TAP1 disrupts antigen presentation. This modification triggers HLA‐A degradation, shielding tumor cells from CD8+ T cell attack. The findings highlight targeting this pathway as a promising therapeutic avenue to sensitize tumors to ...
