Identification of Fatty Acids, Amides and Cinnamic Acid Derivatives in Supercritical-CO2 Extracts of Cinnamomum tamala Leaves Using UPLC-Q-TOF-MSE Combined with Chemometrics

open access: yesMolecules
Cinnamomum tamala leaf (CTL), also known as Indian bay leaf, is used all over the world for seasoning, flavoring, and medicinal purposes. These characteristics could be explained by the presence of several essential bioactive substances and lipid ...

Projective Compactness and Conformal Boundaries

open access: yes, 2015
Let $\overline{M}$ be a smooth manifold with boundary $\partial M$ and interior $M$. Consider an affine connection $\nabla$ on $M$ for which the boundary is at infinity.

RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.

Experimental demonstration of cap transmitter using very high speed IC hardware description language (VHDL) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Carrierless Amplitude Phase (CAP) Modulation is a multidimensional and multilevel of modulation scheme which it is strongly inspired by QAM modulation scheme. CAP does not depend on a carrier and it is much simpler.

Effect of an oxide cap layer and fluorine implantation on the metal-induced lateral crystallization of amorphous silicon

open access: yes, 2012
In this work, we investigate the effect of oxide cap layer on the metal-induced lateral crystallization (MILC) of amorphous silicon. The MILC is characterized at temperatures in the range 550 to 428°C using Nomarski optical microscopy and Raman ...

Pre‐analytical optimization of cell‐free DNA and extracellular vesicle‐derived DNA for mutation detection in liquid biopsies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.
