Defect Engineering and Effect of Vacancy Concentration on the Electrochemical Performance of V‐Based MXenes

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, Volume 9, Issue 4, July 2026.
Using a top‐down defect engineering approach, controllable vacancy concentrations are introduced into V‐based MXenes by rationally designing the precursor MAX phase, aiming to investigate the effect of vacancy concentration on the electrochemical performance.

Multi‐Dimensional Conductive Nanocomposites for Flexible Electronics

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, Volume 9, Issue 4, July 2026.
Multi‐dimensional conductive nanocomposites integrate 0D, 1D, and 2D nanomaterials through spatial structure regulation and interface engineering, achieving “1 + 1 > 2” synergistic effects. By leveraging 0D filling to reduce contact resistance, 1D bridging to construct continuous conductive paths, and 2D supporting to enhance mechanical stability ...

A Printed Wide‐Slot Antenna With Modified Tuning Stub and Parasitic Elements for Glucose Sensing Applications

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 8, Issue 7, July 2026.
A compact printed wide‐slot antenna with a diamond‐shaped tuning stub and parasitic elements achieves an ultrawide impedance bandwidth of 256% (2.4–16.2 GHz). Its capacitive nature enables frequency shifts with dielectric variations, making it highly suitable for accurate, non‐invasive glucose sensing applications.

Enhancing Surface Properties of HMDSO/O2 Release Coatings Using Dual Frequency Discharge on Electrically Floating Objects

open access: yesPlasma Processes and Polymers, Volume 23, Issue 7, July 2026.
Dual‐frequency excitation in a large‐volume PECVD reactor enables enhanced mechanical properties of HMDSO/O2 films on both powered and electrically floating substrates without significantly altering surface free energy or deposition rate. The results indicate that even a limited low‐frequency contribution can modify discharge conditions sufficiently to

Structure–Property Relationship‐Guided Mechanisms for Electromagnetic Wave Absorption, Triboelectric Generation, and Negative Permittivity in Magnetic Metacomposites

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 7, July 2026.
ABSTRACT The composition and structural characteristics of metacomposites are crucial for tuning their negative electromagnetic parameters; however, the lack of a clear structure–property relationship severely limits their application in dielectric and magnetic fields.
