Analysis of System Imbalance Due to Removal of a Failed Capacitor Unit in an Ungrounded Y-connected Capacitor Bank with One Series Group Per Phase [PDF]
[[abstract]]System imbalance due to the removal of a failed capacitor unit in an ungrounded Y-connected capacitor bank with one series group per phase has been analyzed in detail in this paper. The distribution system imbalance as a result of the removal

Abstract This study evaluates the potential of a new organic fertilizer derived from porcine intestinal mucosa (designated BHE), a by‐product of the heparin extraction process, as a sustainable nitrogen (N) source for agriculture. The work was conducted in two stages: (i) chemical and spectroscopic characterization of BHE compared with poultry litter ...

Industrial manufacturing processes have transformative effects on the components of food matrix. These transformations in food matrix and components have direct implications for quality assurance (QA), food quality (e.g., nutritional profile and texture), and food safety management (e.g., pathogen control and toxin mitigation). ABSTRACT This systematic

Transient Analysis on Switching Capacitor Bank Using Power Factor Regulator [PDF]
This study discusses the analysis of transients that occur in capacitor bank switching using a power factor regulator (PFR). Electric power systems use capacitor banks to offset reactive power, enhance power factors, and minimize energy losses.

Integrated petrographic, mineralogical and geochemical data from the Hastanetepe Pb–Zn deposit (Balya, Türkiye) reveal multi‐stage hydrothermal alteration and a magmatic sulphur source. Fluid inclusion and sulphur isotope results indicate a complex fluid evolution responsible for skarn‐type Pb–Zn mineralization along limestone–dacite contacts ...

Plasmid‐like DNA sequences frequently found in bovine milk and serum have been proposed as infectious agents promoting indirect carcinogenesis. This multi‐omics study detected immune cells positive for these bovine meat and milk factors (BMMFs) in patients with lung cancer, with BMMF expression inversely correlated with smoking intensity.
