Capacity of CDMA fading channels

1999 Information Theory and Networking Workshop (Cat. No.99EX371), 2003
The key aspects of the fading multi-access model considered in this paper are: synchronous users with common processing gain N; random spreading sequences known at the receiver; slow independent fading, fading amplitudes remaining constant per information symbol and otherwise ergodic, with arbitrary first order distribution; the fading is independent ...

Multiaccess fading channels. II. Delay-limited capacities

IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 1998
Summary: For Part I, see the review Zbl 0934.94009 above. In Part II, the authors introduce a notion of delay-limited capacity which is the maximum rate achievable with delay independent of how slow the fading is. They characterize the delay-limited capacity region of the multiaccess fading channel and the associated optimal resource allocation schemes.

Intersymbol interference with flat fading: Channel capacity

2008 IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory, 2008
This paper finds the capacity of a linear time-invariant system with a given transfer function, observed in additive Gaussian noise through a memoryless fading channel. A coherent model is assumed where the fading coefficients are known at the receiver (but not the transmitter).
