Assessing the Microstructure of SnBiZn Alloys during Semisolid Treatment
The development of Sn‐based alloys for semisolid processing is crucial for Industry 4.0. This study investigates Sn40Bi and Sn40Bi2Zn alloys, revealing that Zn refines Sn‐rich globules by pinning dendrite boundaries. Bi saturation occurs at 60 min, while Zn enhances globule microhardness at 90 min through solid solution strengthening.

Development and Types of Passive Samplers for Monitoring Atmospheric NO2 and NH3 Concentrations
Numerous passive samplers based on the ‘Palmes-tube’ have been developed for ambient air monitoring. In each case, the diffusion path length and/or crosssectional area are modified to achieve the desired sampling rate.
