ポリカプラミドを,リン酸等の酸またばカセイソーダ,炭酸ソーダ等のアルカリを触媒として高温度に加熱して生成する揮発成分を反応系外に追いだせば,解重合してe-カプロラクタムが得られるが,若干の不純物が副生する。リン酸による解重合の際に副生する低沸点物のうち,γ,δ-ヘキセンニトリルおよびγ-カプロラクトンの2物質を確認した。またカセイソーダ,カセイカリの混合触媒による解重合により得られた粗e-カプロラクタムより,6-オキソウンデカメチレンジアミンの推定される物質を分離した。
