One adult specimen of pompano Trachinotus ovatus (Linnaeus, 1758) was found along the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast. The specimen has been caught in June 2022 in a static fish trap near the town of Primorsko.

On the Occurrence of Seriola fasciata (Carangidae) in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea
This paper reports on a record of Seriola fasciata suggesting the extension of the species’ distribution in the eastern Mediterranean Sea. On 8 September 2021, a single specimen of S. fasciata was caught by trammel net at a depth of 30-40 m off Yılancık Island, Marmaris, in the south-eastern Aegean Sea.

FLUCTUATING ASYMMETRY IN THE OTOLITH WIDTH OF Carangoides caeruleopinnatus (CARANGIDAE) COLLECTED FROM MUSCAT CITY COAST ON THE SEA OF OMAN [PDF]
The fluctuating asymmetry in two otolith dimensions, the length and width of adult teleost Carangoides caeruleopinnatus were calculated. The highest asymmetry value was observed in the otolith width.
