The cine‐substitution of 2‐aryl‐1‐chlorovinyl p‐tolyl sulfoxides with lithium amides yields β‐enamino sulfoxides with high efficiency. β‐Enamino sulfoxides are desulfinylated via the sulfoxide/magnesium exchange reaction with isopropylmagnesium chloride to yield enamines.
