Fiber Optic Sensing for Geomechanical Monitoring: (2)- Distributed Strain Measurements at a Pumping Test and Geomechanical Modeling of Deformation of Reservoir Rocks

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2019
In this study distributed fiber optic sensing has been used to measure strain along a vertical well of a depth of 300 m during a pumping test. The observed strain data has been used in geomechanical simulation, in which a combined analytical and ...

CARBON DIOXIDE THERAPY

open access: yesSouthern Medical Journal, 1953
One hundred patients received carbon dioxide-oxygen therapy. There was no improvement in 25 per cent, slight but definite improvement in 27 per cent, marked improvement in 26 per cent and apparent recovery in 22 per cent, over the one to nine months following therapy covered by this report.

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.
