Sürgősségi császármetszés szén-monoxid-mérgezésben [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Recognition of carbon monoxide is difficult due to its plain physical-chemical properties. Carbon and gas operating heating systems may cause severe poisoning. Carbon-monoxide intoxication may generate severe hypoxic damage and it may cause death.

Islet Harvest in Carbon Monoxide-Saturated Medium for Chronic Pancreatitis Patients Undergoing Islet Autotransplantation

open access: yesCell Transplantation, 2019
Stresses encountered during human islet isolation lead to unavoidable β-cell death after transplantation. This reduces the chance of insulin independence in chronic pancreatitis patients undergoing total pancreatectomy and islet autotransplantation.

Employees’ Exposure to Carbon Monoxide in Pakistan Steel Mills

open access: yesInternational Journal of Environment, 2014
Many processes in the iron and steel making industries emit carbon monoxide, which causes a variety of toxic effects on human health, such as fatigue, impaired memory, headache, and nausea. At elevated exposure, carbon monoxide poisoning may lead to loss

Carbon Monoxide Poisoning [PDF]

open access: yesAnaesthesia and Intensive Care, 1991
Carbon monoxide is a common domestic and industrial poison which may be lethal. Survivors can develop permanent neuropsychiatric disability. The mechanisms of toxicity are poorly understood and the traditional criteria used to determine the severity of the poisoning have low predictability. Oxygen is the recommended antidote to carbon monoxide, but it

In‐Situ Growth of 2D MOFs as a Molecular Sieving Layer on SnS2 Nanoflakes for Realizing Ultraselective H2S Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 35, Issue 12, March 18, 2025.
The ultraselective H2S detection of the ZIF‐L/SnS2 heterostructure is demonstrated. The introduction of 2‐dimensional (2D) breathable ZIF‐L results in a substantial increase in H2S selectivity attributable to the molecular sieving effect, which impedes the permeation of gases with large kinetic diameters and high polarity.

Correlation between air flow rate and pollutant concentrations during two-stage oak log combustion in a 25 KW residential boiler

open access: yesChemical and Process Engineering, 2016
It can be expected that there is a considerable correlation between combustion air flow rate and the concentrations of carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxide in the flue gas.
