Bacteria‐Responsive Nanostructured Drug Delivery Systems for Targeted Antimicrobial Therapy
Bacteria‐responsive nanocarriers are designed to release antimicrobials only in the presence of infection‐specific cues. This selective activation ensures drug release precisely at the site of infection, avoiding premature or indiscriminate release, and enhancing efficacy.

Spin and Charge Control of Topological End States in Chiral Graphene Nanoribbons on a 2D Ferromagnet
Chiral graphene nanoribbons on a ferromagnetic gadolinium‐gold surface alloy display tunable spin and charge states at their termini. Atomic work function variations and exchange fields enabe transitions between singlet, doublet, and triplet configurations.

Carbon-heat neutralization effect for achieving carbon neutrality in urban agglomeration
Abstract As pivotal nodes for carbon emissions and urban heat island (UHI) dynamics, carbon-heat interactions in urban agglomerations are fundamental to global carbon neutrality. Urban green infrastructure, a cornerstone of urban natural capital, mitigates UHI but faces underexplored carbon sequestration capacities—a critical gap in ...

Unraveling the dynamics of atmospheric methane: the impact of anthropogenic and natural emissions
The reduction in methane concentration is crucial for achieving the goals of the Paris agreement. However, its annual growth rate is unstable, and understanding the reasons for changes in methane growth is essential for climate policy-making.

Resolving the Structural Duality of Graphene Grain Boundaries
Cantilever ncAFM resolves the atomic structure of grain boundaries in graphene, revealing coexisting stable and metastable types. Both contain pentagon/heptagon defects, but metastable GBs show irregular geometries. Modeling shows metastable GBs form under compression, exhibiting vertical corrugation, while stable GBs are flat.
