On Carbonizing and Neutralizing Processes
研究目的紡毛工場の化炭, 中和工程につき現場的規模の上に立って問題を掘下げ解析することによって究明せんとした.研究結果(1) 浸酸作業において硫酸濃度と含酸量との間にはほぼ直線相関が成立し, 残脂は含酸量に反比例的効果を与えるが, バーの炭化は残脂大なる時に生じる含酸量低下の影響をあまり受けず, この場合残脂は羊毛纎維の傷害を保護する.従ってもし後洗に遺漏がなければ洗毛を比較的高残脂に管理することにより, 硫酸並びに中和剤消費を節減し, 羊毛の損傷を軽減することが出来る.(2) 天満MH型乾燥機を用い, 化炭状態において機内温湿度分布を明らかにした.(3) 蒸気圧を種々変換した場合の化炭温湿度分布を明らかにした.(4) その乾燥速度並びに時間は蒸気圧の変化に対しその変化率の約39%の増減を示す.(5)
