Surface‐charged N‐CQDs serve as both electrolyte additives and photocathode modifiers. Electrodeposited N‐CQDs on Cu2O form a stable composite, steering 4e− ORR toward water. A quasi‐solid electrolyte with N‐CQDs aids charge migration, electrode‐electrolyte interfacial compatibility and replenishes active sites.

Molecular and Cellular Hallmarks of Age‐Related Vestibular Hair Cell Degeneration
This study utilizes single‐cell RNA‐seq transcriptomes, advanced imaging, and electrophysiology to examine universal and cell‐type‐specific aging signatures of vestibular hair cells. The study shows that impaired hair bundle function is a key driver of age‐related vestibular dysfunction.

Analysis of the behaviour of a carbonate rock mass due to tunneling in a karst setting. [PDF]
Sorrento Peninsula is one of the most famous touristic resort of southern Italy. The high energy relief of the carbonate mountains, reaching over 1,100 m above sea level at a very short distance from the coastlines, along with the widespread ...

Carbonate Rock Physical Property Parameter Substitution Method Based on Rock Physics Models
The physical properties of carbonate rocks play a crucial role in the exploration and development of oil and gas. Carbonate rocks are characterized by multiple types of porosity, and the complex porosity types result in a highly discrete relationship ...

In this paper, as a series of studies concerning the carbonate source rocks, characteristics of Rock-Eval analysis and petroleum derived from carbonate source rocks are discussed. Many Tmax values of Rock Eval analyses of carbonate source rocks indicate early mature or immature stage, though those rocks generated reservoir petroleum.

High Tree Species Diversity Promotes Thermal Enhancement Response of Microbial Carbon Use Efficiency
ABSTRACT Predicting soil carbon dynamics under warming is constrained by limited understanding of microbial thermal adaptation, particularly whether microbial carbon use efficiency (CUE) can adapt to warming and how plant diversity modulates this response. Using soils from a natural tree species diversity gradient in a subtropical forest, we combined a

Modelling rock slope behaviour and evolution with reference to Northern Spain and Southern Jordan [PDF]
The geomorphological behaviour of steep jointed rock slopes has been studied using distinct element computer models. In order to model steep slopes effectively, methodologies need to be combined from the studies of environmental modellers ...

Adaptive Cu Reconstruction in Heterostructure Drives High‐Rate Nitrate‐to‐Ammonia Conversion
An adaptively reconstructed Cu/CoOX heterojunction, featuring a surface‐localized, hydroxyl‐rich oxidized Cu species, forms in situ from a CuO/CoOX (Co1Cu9OX) pre‐catalyst during electrochemical nitrate reduction. The self‐adaptive reconstruction and the incorporation of heterostructure regulate nitrogen‐containing intermediate adsorption and *H supply,
