Techno‐Economic Assessment of Biomethane and Biohydrogen Production From Victorian Wheat Straw
Techno‐economic assessment of biomethane and biohydrogen production from Victorian wheat straw. Off‐grid renewable photovoltaic energy with a price down to 0.95 ¢/kWh was applied. Both approaches can make positive profits and negative carbon footprints.

Formation of Gehlenite (Ca2Al2SiO7) by Carbothermal Reduction of Carbonized Rice Hulls.
Vapor deposition products were formed in the cold zone (920-1120°C) during synthesis of SiC from carbonized rice hulls (CRHs) in the reaction zone (1500°C) of a vacuum tube furnace during carbothermal reduction. Crystals of gehlenite (Ca2Al2SiO7) and β-SiC whiskers were identified by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning transmission electron microscopy

Past, present and future of local crop evolution
Promoting agrobiodiversity is a promising strategy for mitigating the negative effects of climate change on global food security. We highlight the central role evolutionary processes play in harnessing the potential of local crops by integrating genomics, archaeology, ethnobotany and traditional ecological knowledge (TEK).

Preparation of Rice Hull-Based Activated Carbon with Ammonium Nitrate
The present study deals with the preparation of rice hull-based activated carbon with ammonium nitrate. The obtained carbon was activated at temperatures between 400 and 900 degrees C. The rice hull-activated carbon presented a BET surface area of 456.77 m(2) g(-1) and a pore volume of 0.2406 cm(3) g(-1) at 600 degrees C.

Cellulosic microfibres were extracted from almond shells using organosolv, soda and kraft processes, and comprehensive physicochemical, surface, thermal and morphological characterisation demonstrated their strong potential as sustainable fillers for paper‐based packaging application. ABSTRACT This study develops pathways for the valorisation of almond

Durum Wheat cv. Svevo Reference Genome Rel.2.0: A Comprehensive Tool for Wheat Genomics
ABSTRACT Advancements in plant genome sequencing and assembly have enabled the production of increasingly accurate and contiguous genome sequences. Here, we present the chromosome‐level assembly of the durum wheat (Triticum turgidum L. ssp. durum, cv. Svevo) reference genome produced using accurate long‐reads, optical mapping and Hi‐C. The new assembly
