Curdlan/sodium carboxymethylcellulose composite adsorbents: A biodegradable solution for organic dye removal from water.

Carbohydrate Polymers, 2023
Composite adsorbent comprised of curdlan (CURD) and sodium carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) were fabricated through a single-step heating process, targeting the removal of methylene blue (MB) from wastewater. The CURD/CMC composite adsorbents had a honeycomb

Determination of Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose*

Journal of the American Pharmaceutical Association (Scientific ed.), 1955
Abstract A method for the determination of sodium carboxymethylcellulose in antibiotic preparations. The copper salt of carboxymethylcellulose is precipitated and analyzed for carboxymethylcellulose colorimetrically using 2,7‐naphthalenediol. Possible use of this method in quantitative determination of carboxymethylcellulose is suggested.
