Angewandte Chemie, EarlyView.The reactivity of cyclopentenyl‐bridged polymethine dyes is leveraged to synthesize shortwave infrared (SWIR)‐emissive di‐ and trinuclear polymethine dyes. Chromenylium‐ and flavylium‐based trinuclear dyes demonstrate increased nucleophilic stability, minimal aggregation in micelle formulations, and notable lymph node accumulation.
