Squamous cell carcinoma of the hallux
Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association, 2000This article reports on a case of malignant degeneration of a hallux nail bed ulcer of 30 years' duration. Histologically, this lesion was determined to be a squamous cell carcinoma, a type of lesion that is also known as Marjolin's ulcer. The diagnosis, histologic findings, and treatment of patients with cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma are discussed.

Pigmented Squamous Cell Carcinoma
The American Journal of Dermatopathology, 2007Although dendritic, melanin-containing melanocytes can be seen in a variety of epithelial neoplasms, only 0.01% to 7% of all squamous cell carcinomas (SCC) are pigmented. Furthermore, most reported cases have occurred in the oral and ocular mucosa, with relatively few cases reported to originate in the skin.

Squamous cell carcinoma of the penis
Andrologia, 2009Squamous cell carcinoma of the penis is a rare disease in Western countries. In geographical locations where infantile circumcision is not routinely practised and genital hygiene is poor, penile cancer may comprise 10-20% of all malignancies. Superficial tumours (Ta-Tl) should be treated with organ-preserving therapy.

IT IS SAID that surgeons early recognized that epithelioma of the anus was "a peculiarly resistant type of tumor." 1 There is little evidence to show that the epidermoid carcinomas which arise in the anal canal or the perianal skin are different in their intrinsic characteristics from similar lesions occurring elsewhere.
