Synthesis and Experimental Characterization of a MWCNT-Filled Bio-Based Adhesive
In the present paper, a novel epichlorohydrin/cardanol adhesive was reinforced by multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) and characterized experimentally. The adhesive was reinforced by MWCNTs in weight ratios (wt %) of 0.5%, 1.0% and 2.0%.

INFLUENCE OF CARDANOL ENCAPSULATED ON THE PROPERTIES OF POLY(LACTIC ACID) MICROPARTICLES
In this study, microparticles of poly(lactic acid) (PLA) were produced to encapsulate cardanol, varying molar mass of the polymer matrix, concentration of the emulsifier (PVA) and concentration of the chemical additive (cardanol).

Horseradish and soybean peroxidases: comparable tools for alternative niches? [PDF]
Horseradish and soybean peroxidases (HRP and SBP, respectively) are useful biotechnological tools. HRP is often termed the classical plant heme peroxidase and although it has been studied for decades, our understanding has deepened since its cloning and ...

Processing of Super Tough Plasticized PLA by Rotational Molding
This work is aimed at studying the suitability of polylactic acid (PLA) plasticized by two cardanol derivatives, i.e., cardanol and epoxidized cardanol acetate, in rotational molding, for the production of hollow items.

Effect of the properties of natural resin binder in a high friction composite material
In this paper, a high-friction composite material based on the combination of binder, friction modifiers, fibers and fillers is investigated. In the binder, up to 20% of phenol are replaced by cardanol with various weight ratios of 100/0, 95/5, 90/10, 85/

Cationic UV‐curing of epoxidized cardanol derivatives
AbstractThis paper demonstrates the high reactivity and potentiality of bio‐renewably obtained cardanol‐based epoxy monomers as well as the possibility of tuning the final thermomechanical properties by changing either the epoxy content or the chemical structure of the starting photocurable resin.
