We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

Venetian cardinals at the Papal Court during the pontificates of Sixtus IV and Innocent VIII : 1471-1492 [PDF]
The histories of particular cities and states within that myriad-faceted slice of civilisation, the Renaissance in Italy, have received more scholarly attention than have the diplomatic, ecclesiastical and cultural connections between them. This study

Multiscale Edge Extraction Using the Fuzzy Rules
This paper proposes multiscale edge extraction using the fuzzy rules. Its cardinal idea is that edges can be gained usually via extracting large-amplitude parts of signal changes in neighboring pixels. However, it is very difficult to get a threshold for

Cardinal Characteristics and Computability
Cardinal characteristics of the continuum represent the boundaries in size between the countable and the continuum with respect to certain properties of sets. They are often defined as the minimum sizes of families of reals that meet some criteria. Taking these families and considering their analogues in the setting of computability theory provides a ...

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Higher Baire Spaces: Cardinal Characteristics, Higher Reals & Bounded Spaces
This thesis investigates cardinal characteristics on higher Baire spaces (also known as generalised Baire spaces), with a particular focus on generalising cardinal characteristics of the Cichoń diagram.

Cardinal characteristics of the ideal of Haar null sets [PDF]
summary:We calculate the cardinal characteristics of the $\sigma$-ideal $\Cal H\Cal N(G)$ of Haar null subsets of a Polish non-locally compact group $G$ with invariant metric and show that $\operatorname{cov}(\Cal H\Cal N(G)) \leq \frak b\leq \max ...
