Cardiomyocyte‐enriched USP20 regulates the K63‐linked ubiquitination of STAT3, and the cardiomyocyte‐specific USP20‐STAT3‐CARM1 axis exerts a protective role in cardiac hypertrophy. Targeting USP20 through cardiac‐specific gene therapy presents a promising strategy for the treatment of cardiac hypertrophy.

β-Hydroxybutyrate as an epigenetic modifier: Underlying mechanisms and implications
Previous studies have found that β-Hydroxybutyrate (BHB), the main component of ketone bodies, is of physiological importance as a backup energy source during starvation or induces diabetic ketoacidosis when insulin deficiency occurs. Ketogenic diets (KD)

This study prepares copper tungstate (CuWO4, CWO) nanoparticles for synergistic sono‐enhanced cuproptosis‐based cancer therapy. With an ultrasmall bandgap (1.71 eV), CWO facilitates efficient charge carrier separation under ultrasound, enhancing the generation of reactive oxygen species and the controlled release of Cu2+ ions cascade amplify oxidative ...

Patch‐clamp experiments are fundamental to the measurement and understanding of ion currents that underlie physiological functions from neural activity to muscle contraction. Via a mathematical model of the experimental apparatus, this article highlights how artifact effects can be as large as some reported mutation and drug effects, and enables ...

PITN: Physics-Informed Temporal Networks for Cuffless Blood Pressure Estimation [PDF]
Monitoring blood pressure with non-invasive sensors has gained popularity for providing comfortable user experiences, one of which is a significant function of smart wearables. Although providing a comfortable user experience, such methods are suffering from the demand for a significant amount of realistic data to train an individual model for each ...
