The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Web Application of Convolutional Neural Networks with YOLOv8 for Early Detection of Diseases in Strawberry Crops [PDF]
In this research, we address a critical problem for strawberry growers in Lima: the management of phytosanitary diseases. Traditionally, these farmers relied on time-consuming, imprecise, and error-prone visual observation methods, resulting in annual ...

Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...

Vesicular arbuscular mycorrhiza (VAM) mediated solubilization of phosphorus in clayey soil
One of the major essential macronutrient for plant is phosphorous and is applied to soil in the form of chemical phosphatic fertilizers which is immobilized rapidly and becomes unavailable to plants.

Proteostasis and the gut microbiota play a key role in shaping host physiology. Microbiota‐derived metabolites, vitamins, and RNA modulate host proteostasis. Findings from model systems, including C. elegans, indicate microbes can either stabilize or disrupt host proteostasis.

Feasibility of mean platelet volume in predicting neonatal morbidity in pre-eclamptic pregnancies
Background: Mean platelet volume (MPV) is a measurement of the average size of platelets found in blood. The average platelet size is larger when the body is producing increased numbers of platelets.

From mice to humans—divergent strategies for intestinal homeostasis and regeneration
Recent advances such as organoid genome editing, xenotransplantation, imaging, and whole‐genome sequencing have enabled direct studies of human intestinal stem cells (ISCs). These studies reveal species‐specific features, including slower ISC proliferation, distinct injury responses, slower somatic mutation accumulation in humans, and an inverse ...
