Standardization and revision of morphological structures terminology for Glyphocrangonidae (Decapoda: Caridea) [PDF]
Glyphocrangonidae includes 96 species in one genus, Glyphocrangon A. Milne-Edwards, 1881 and this genus was divided into four informal species groups. This family has a complex morphology with many ornamentations on the body. Some papers tentatively standardized the group’s nomenclature, but it still presents understanding problems as one structure ...

Abstract In studying the mitochondrial genome (mitogenome) composition and gene sequences of deep-sea organisms, it is of great importance to understand and explore the molecular mechanisms underlying their adaptation to the deep-sea environment. Glyphocrangon regalis belongs to Caridea, Crangonoidea, and is a typical deep-sea shrimp.

Notes on the Mediterranean nematocarcinid shrimps (Crustacea: Decapoda: Caridea)
Journal of Natural History, 1998Nematocarcinus exilis is recorded from a number of localities in the eastern Mediterranean basin and a new depth range, 1033 to 4765 m, is reported for this species. These new depth records and re-examination of former records make it very probable that N. exilis is the only Mediterranean nematocarcinid.

Abstract The infraorder Caridea has figured under various names as an important component of natant decapods. But it was not until the 1980s that cladistic analyses of carideans appeared in print (Christoffersen), and that which lead to a series of cladistically framed revisions of the infraorder. With well over 3,000 species, the secret
