El cariotipo de Chaetanthera linearis Poepp. (Asteraceae) [PDF]

open access: yesGayana. Botánica, 2010
The karyotype of Chaetanthera linearis var. linearis from Chile was examined. The species has 2n = 2x = 22 chromosomes, with 9m + 1st + 1 st-sat chromosomes. The reported karyotype is symmetric (AsK % = 58.0, TF % = 42.0 and Syi % = 72.4). The karyotype of this species was compared with Ch. microphylla var.

El cariotipo fundamental de Alstroemeria violacea Phil. (Alstroemeriaceae)

open access: yesGayana. Botánica, 2021
The karyotype of Alstroemeria violacea Phil. from Chile was described. The species presented a karyotype 2n = 2x = 16, and a haploid formula of 3m + 1st + 2st-sat + 1t + 1t-sat. The reported karyotype is asymmetric, with CVCL = 53.9 ± 7.5, MCA = 50.8 ± 6.4, and TLC = 236.5 ± 16.8 µm. The latter is discussed including data of other species.

Mitotic karyotype of the tropical freshwater crayfish Procambarus (Austrocambarus) llamasi (Decapoda: Cambaridae)

open access: yesRevista de Biología Tropical, 2010
In Mexico, the biology of Procambarus has been more studied than the biology of other Cambarids because of its diversity and potential use in aquaculture. We determined the karyotype of the Mexican tropical freshwater crayfish Procambarus (Austrocambarus)

Chromosomal Inversion Associated With Diet Differences in Common Quails Sharing Wintering Grounds

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 15, Issue 8, August 2025.
A large chromosomal inversion in common quails (Coturnix coturnix) is associated with phenotypic traits. In a wintering population in southern Spain, we found all three karyotypes coexisting but showing differences in migratory behavior and diet, as exemplified by the isotopic signature.

Cariotipos de especies de Turnera (Turneraceae)

open access: yesBonplandia, 1996

Incremental yield of exome sequencing over standard prenatal testing in structurally normal fetuses: systematic review and meta‐analysis

open access: yesUltrasound in Obstetrics &Gynecology, Volume 65, Issue 5, Page 552-559, May 2025.
ABSTRACT Objective To critically review the literature and synthesize evidence on the incremental yield of prenatal exome sequencing (PES) in fetuses with an apparently normal phenotype with a normal G‐banded karyotype or chromosomal microarray (CMA).
