Carnivore

2017
I stank of wine and meat. Nine months as a vegan had ended ingloriously, drowned in a few too many glasses of cheap retsina. I felt disgust and repulsion for myself while I climbed the rough slope. Herpesviruses of carnivores

Veterinary Microbiology, 1999

Plant—carnivore mutualism through herbivore-induced carnivore attractants

Trends in Plant Science, 1996
Plants and carnivorous arthropods can interact mutualistically. A recent discovery is that such mutualisms can be mediated by volatile compounds — produced by plants in response to herbivore damage — that attract carnivores. However, after emission of these attractants, the plant has no control over their use.

THE CARNIVORE'S ETHICS

Angelaki, 2014
