Nitrosyl heme emerges as an extracellular nitrodilator that dilates arteries without crossing the cell membrane. Instead, heme‐NO mobilizes NO moieties from a preformed intracellular NO store within vascular smooth muscle, providing both functional and chemical evidence for the NANOS model, revealing a previously unrecognized mechanism of arterial ...

A STUDY ON CORRELATION OF COLOUR DOPPLER AND MRI IN PATIENT OF CEREBROVASCULAR STROKE
Background: Many efforts have been made to correlate symptoms and cerebral events with Colour Doppler and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The present study was conducted with an objective to find the correlation between carotid doppler suggesting ...

ABSTRACT Genome‐wide association studies (GWAS) link the Tropomyosin 1 (Tpm1) locus to quantitative blood trait variation, but related mechanisms are unclear. Tpm1 encodes an actin‐binding protein that regulates actin filament diversity, cell adhesion, signaling, and actomyosin contractility.

G3BP1 Succinylation at K413 is Critical for Cardiac Function by Modulating PI3K‐AKT‐mTOR Signal Axis
Schematic illustrating the impact of G3BP1 succinylation at K413 on cardiac function. In the healthy human heart, G3BP1 succinylation maintains homeostatic mTOR signaling. In patients with dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) and heart failure (HF), G3BP1 de‐succinylation induces RagA expression and disrupts the binding of the TSC1/2 complex, leading to the ...

Treatment with radiotherapy in carotidal paraganglioma: experience of the General Hospital of Mexico
BACKGROUND: Paragangliomas are highly vascularized tumours that have benign histology, with malignant dissemination being infrequent (< 5%). Surgery is the only option offering complete resection; however, there is significant morbidity.

Selective Inhibition of Integrin β3 Topology Provides a Safer Antithrombotic Strategy
Current integrin αIIbβ3 inhibitors effectively reduce thrombosis but also increase bleeding risk. During thrombosis, high shear blood flow can directly activate the integrin αIIbβ3 via a distinct topological change in the β3 transmembrane domain, independent of hemostatic platelet signaling.

This study identifies S100A14 in tumor‐derived exosomes as a key driver of brain metastasis. S100A14 targets PIAS3 in astrocytes, activating STAT3 signaling and promoting immunosuppressive MDSCs recruitment via chemokine secretion. Germacrone, a natural compound, binds S100A14 to disrupt this axis, effectively inhibiting brain metastasis with low ...

Inspired by Nostoc, a crack‐based one‐dimensional microspheres array (COMA) sensor is developed, which stabilizes crack geometry under isotropic expansion, enabling a predictable, monotonic thermal response from which true strain can be accurately extracted. The COMA sensor exhibits high sensitivity at ultralow deformation (gauge factor up to 89) and a
