THE TRANSRADIAL APPROACH FOR CAROTID ARTERY STENTING
AbstractBackgroundCarotid artery stenting (CAS) is an alternative to carotid endarterectomy (CEA) for revascularization of the internal carotid artery (ICA). CAS from the femoral approach may be problematic due to peripheral vascular disease, anatomical variations of the aortic arch, and access site complications.

Abstract Background Chronic sacroiliac joint (SIJ) pain is highly debilitating. Minimally invasive SIJ fusion has become a commonly performed surgical treatment for SIJ pain, with level I evidence showing clinically significant improvements in pain, function, and quality of life and a low adverse event rate.

ABSTRACT Introduction Contrast‐induced encephalopathy (CIE) is an increasingly recognised neurological complication of iodinated contrast administration during neurointerventional procedures. Recently published 2025 Delphi‐based diagnostic criteria and management algorithms aim to standardise clinical practice; however, optimal neuroimaging strategies ...

This graphical abstract presents a comprehensive analysis of probe stability and oscillation during very high‐power short‐duration (vHPSD) pulmonary vein isolation (PVI) for atrial fibrillation. The findings indicate that oscillation velocity serves as a more reliable predictor of impedance drop and temperature changes than contact force alone ...
