Canopy Plants Safeguard the Taxonomic and Phylogenetic Diversity of Recruiting Plants Worldwide
Ecology Letters, Volume 29, Issue 8, August 2026.We provide a global synthesis on how canopy plants shape both taxonomic and phylogenetic diversity during recruitment, the most climatically sensitive stage of the plant life cycle. Drawing from explicit plant–recruit interactions across 142 communities spanning ten biomes, our analysis reveals that canopy plants act as universal microrefugia.

On Making Informed Decisions Regarding Clustering Event Logs in Process Discovery
Expert Systems, Volume 43, Issue 8, August 2026.ABSTRACT Process discovery is intended to machine‐learn process models by analysing event logs that record how real processes work. The resulting models tend to be complex because they must account for all the variability in the event logs.
