Transport LawThe article examines the form of legal relationship between the carrier and the passenger, formed at the stage of booking the capacity of the vehicle. It is concluded that the content of such a legal form is the corresponding secondary right of the passenger and the state of bondage of the carrier.

2015The fact that ports in the EU-28 handle almost 400 million maritime passengers a year is the best evidence of the relevance of maritime carriage of passengers in EU. In order to enhance protection and rights of passengers while in transport by sea, EU adopted Regulation 392/2009 and Regulation 1177/2010.
