Contigious hyperquadrics of coequipped hyperbands
We consider hyperquadrics that are internally connected to coequipped hyperbands in the projective space. Specifically, a hyperquadric tangent to a hyperplane at the point is called a contiguous hyperquadric of a hyperband if it has a second-order ...

Hyperband distribution equipped with a field of conjugate planes
In this paper, we study a special class of hyperbands, i. e., a framed hyperband distribution. The study of hyperbands and their generalizations in spaces with different fundamental groups is of great interest in connection with numerous applications in

Relativistic fluids, hydrodynamic frames and their Galilean versus Carrollian avatars
We comprehensively study Galilean and Carrollian hydrodynamics on arbitrary backgrounds, in the presence of a matter/charge conserved current. For this purpose, we follow two distinct and complementary paths. The first is based on local invariance, be it

Reheating in geometric Weyl-invariant Einstein-Cartan gravity [PDF]
We study Weyl-invariant purely gravitational theories formulated within the Einstein-Cartan framework. In the Einstein-frame description, these models are dynamically equivalent to standard general relativity coupled to an axion-like pseudoscalar degree ...

Generalized parallelizable spaces from exceptional field theory
Generalized parallelizable spaces allow a unified treatment of consistent maximally supersymmetric truncations of ten- and eleven-dimensional supergravity in generalized geometry. Known examples are spheres, twisted tori and hyperboloides.

Values of the Pukánszky invariant in McDuff factors [PDF]
In 1960 Pukánszky introduced an invariant associating to every masa in a separable II1 factor a non-empty subset of the N ∪ {∞}. This invariant examines the multiplicity structure of the von Neumann algebra generated by

A Cartan–Hartogs version of the polydisk theorem [PDF]
We extend the Polydisk Theorem for symmetric bounded domains to Cartan–Hartogs domains, and apply it to prove that a Cartan–Hartogs domain inherits totally geodesic submanifolds from the bounded symmetric domain which is based on, and to give a ...

Nonrelativistic transport from frame-indifferent kinetic theory [PDF]
This paper explores the application of Newton-Cartan geometry to the kinetic theory of gases that includes nonrelativistic gravitational effects and the principle of general covariance.

bk$b^k$‐Algebroids and the variety of foliation jets
Abstract We introduce and classify singular foliations of bk+1$b^{k+1}$‐type, which formalize the properties of vector fields that are tangent to a submanifold W⊂M$W \subset M$ to order k$k$. When W$W$ is a hypersurface, these structures are Lie algebroids generalizing the bk+1$b^{k+1}$‐tangent bundles introduced by Scott.
