Label System on Cartesian Coordinate by Using a Digital Camera

2010 International Conference on Internet Technology and Applications, 2010
a novel image-based label system is proposed in this paper, we can convert the coordinate in image into Cartesian coordinate by using an image from a single CCD camera. This system could correspond arbitrary two points on the image convert to the actual distance no matter the digital camera is vertical to the measuring plane or not and the height of ...

Transformation of Coordinates between Cartesian Systems

2001
It is often necessary to convert spatial data from one reference system to another. For example, when one has determined the positions of some points in a local rectangular grid system (see Chapter 2 for definitions of the various reference systems), the positions may be converted to a national grid system, or vice versa, for various reasons.

Molecular dynamics of rigid systems in cartesian coordinates A general formulation

Molecular Physics, 1982
The dynamics of rigid polyatomic systems, either molecules or rigid portions of large molecules, is described by cartesian equations of motion for its atoms.

A computer routine for the calculation of cartesian coordinates of seven membered ring systems

Computers & Chemistry, 1980
Abstract A computer routine to calculate cartesian coordinates of any seven membered ring is presented. The use of pseudorotational parameters guarantees a perfect ring closure. No a priori knowledge about the torsion angles is required.

Self-Tuning Manipulator Control in Cartesian Base Coordinate System

Journal of Dynamic Systems, Measurement, and Control, 1985
A discrete-time stochastic model for the motion of a robotic manipulator system is introduced. The input vector consists of the voltages to the joint motors, and the output vector has the velocities (positions) of the gripper expressed in the world (xyz) coordinate system as the components.

Automation in MIG Welding Using Cartesian Coordinate System

2019
This document presents a Bachelor of Engineering final year thesis on the designand development of an automated MIG welding system using a Cartesian coordinatemechanism. The project aims to improve weld accuracy, repeatability, and operatorsafety through low-cost automation.

Graphical model of an elastic medium in a cartesian coordinate system

Strength of Materials, 1993
A discrete model of a deformable elastic body in the form of an oriented graph is examined. The graph can be used as a nontraditional means of deriving resolvent equations, involving the transformation of systems of generalized coordinates describing elements of the sectioned body to a coordinate system that describes the body as a whole.
