Classical Superintegrable Systems in a Magnetic Field that Separate in Cartesian Coordinates [PDF]

open access: yesSymmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications, 2020
We consider superintegrability in classical mechanics in the presence of magnetic fields. We focus on three-dimensional systems which are separable in Cartesian coordinates. We construct all possible minimally and maximally superintegrable systems in this class with additional integrals quadratic in the momenta.

Transformation procedures in 3D terrestrial coordinate systems [PDF]

open access: yesActa Montanistica Slovaca, 2001
Transformation procedures belong to the main tasks of surveyor working in a field of geodesy, for example in satellite geodesy or astronomical geodesy.

Influence of the Mesh Topology on the Accuracy of Modelling Turbulent Natural and Excited Round Jets at Different Initial Turbulence Intensities

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2022
The paper is aimed at an assessment of the importance of the coordinate system (Cartesian vs. cylindrical) assumed for simulations of free-round jets.

New infinite families of Nth-order superintegrable systems separating in Cartesian coordinates [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Physics A: Mathematical and Theoretical, 2020
Abstract A study is presented of superintegrable quantum systems in two-dimensional Euclidean space E 2 allowing the separation of variables in Cartesian coordinates. In addition to the Hamiltonian H and the second order integral of motion X, responsible for the separation of variables, they allow a third integral that ...

Analytic solutions of a two-fluid hydrodynamic model

open access: yesMathematical Modelling and Analysis, 2021
We investigate a one dimensional flow described with the non-compressible coupled Euler and non-compressible Navier-Stokes equations in the Cartesian coordinate system.

Prediction of Myasthenia Gravis Worsening: A Machine Learning Algorithm Using Wearables and Patient‐Reported Measures

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Myasthenia gravis (MG) is a rare disorder characterized by fluctuating muscle weakness with potential life‐threatening crises. Timely interventions may be delayed by limited access to care and fragmented documentation. Our objective was to develop predictive algorithms for MG deterioration using multimodal telemedicine data ...

Fabrication of Multifunctional FeSi Gyroid Lattice Composites via Additive Manufacturing and Polymer Infiltration

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A two‐step approach combining laser powder bed fusion of FeSi electrical steel with Bakelite infiltration enables the fabrication of multifunctional gyroid lattice composites. The resulting structures exhibit high strength, magnetic anisotropy, and complete polymer infiltration, demonstrating a simple and scalable route toward lightweight, mechanically

A novel laser-based stereotactic localization device for intracranial mass resection

open access: yesBrain Hemorrhages, 2021
Unfortunately, both frame-based and frameless stereotactic neuronavigation platforms are far from ubiquitous in global neurosurgery, and many facilities lack accurate localization technology to ensure the safety of intracranial surgery such as cerebral ...

Intermolecular Interactions as Driving Force of Increasing Multiphoton Absorption in a Perylene Diimide‐Based Coordination Polymer

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study uncovers the unexplored role of intermolecular interactions in multiphoton absorption in coordination polymers. By analyzing [Zn2tpda(DMA)2(DMF)0.3], it shows how the electronic coupling of the chromophores and confinement in the MOF enhance two‐and three‐photon absorption.
