A Three‐Dimensional Structural Model for Predicting Magnetic Exchange and Hydrogen Positions in Bis‐μ‐Hydroxido Cu(II) Dimers

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, Volume 29, Issue 17, 17 June 2026.
Magneto‐structural correlation in bis‐μ‐hydroxido Cu(II) dimers: The out‐of‐plane angle (α) of bridging hydroxido groups critically influences the exchange coupling constant (J). A three‐dimensional correlation combining α and the Cu‐OH‐Cu angle (θ) enables computationally accurate J prediction.

Phosphoryl Halogen and Hydrogen Bonding Controls the Solid‐State Structures of Aryl Halide‐Containing Phosphonates

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, Volume 29, Issue 17, 17 June 2026.
Intramolecular (RO)2PO→Halogen interaction versus intermolecular (RO)2PO···HOH hydrogen bonds. Although the O···I distance is shorter than the sum of the van der Waals radii of the atoms involved, there is no covalency involved in this interaction.

The Effect of Hydraulic Fracturing on the 2021 Ms 6.0 Luxian Earthquake as Revealed by Deformation and Numerical Simulations

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 11, 16 June 2026.
Abstract This study investigates whether hydraulic fracturing contributed to the 2021 Ms 6.0 Luxian earthquake in the Sichuan Basin. Time‐series InSAR analysis of multi‐temporal Sentinel‐1 data reveals coseismic deformation associated with the 2021 Luxian earthquake and localized uplift near hydraulic fracturing platforms.

Revealing Coastal Storm‐Wave Transformations From SWOT HR Observation: The English Channel Case Study

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 11, 16 June 2026.
Abstract Swell propagation and transformation across variable bathymetry and coastal obstacles fundamentally control nearshore wave energy redistribution, sediment transport, and shoreline evolution. Conventional satellite altimetry cannot adequately resolve these dynamics, particularly refraction and diffraction as swell transition into shallow waters.

Revealing the Formation of the <20 MeV Inner Proton Radiation Belt at L ∼ 2 During the 10–11 May 2024 Superstorm

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 11, 16 June 2026.
Abstract A new proton radiation belt was identified during the geomagnetic superstorm of 10–11 May 2024. To investigate its origin, we use an MHD‐test particle simulation to model solar energetic proton (SEP) trapping and the evolution of the initial trapped proton population during the storm.
