Systematic Engineering of Proteases in Saccharopolyspora Spinosa Reveals Synergistic Enhancement of Spinosad Biosynthesis via Substrate Flux Optimization

ARTP mutagenesis yielded Saccharopolyspora spinosa mutant D184 with improved extracellular nitrogen utilization. An integrated workflow of protease genetic manipulation, multi‐omics, and rational synergy design pinpointed a pepP‐clpP‐htpX synergistic triangular combination.

Understanding the Interplay Between Thermal Activation, Diffusion, and Phase Segregation of Molecular Dopants Blended with Polymeric Semiconductors

The use of air stable but thermally labile molecules provides an efficient strategy for the N‐type doping of organic semiconductors with relatively low electron affinities. Design criteria for efficient dopants should also take into account diffusion and phase segregation that cannot be decoupled from thermally activated doping.

Wir zeigen, dass hybridisierte dsDNA eine senkrechte Ausrichtung zu SWCNTs einnimmt, und präsentieren eine abstandsabhängige Übertragung der Energie von Fluoreszenzfarbstoffen auf SWCNTs. Der Energietransfer von Kohlenstoffnanoröhren (CNET) folgt einer d−5‐Abhängigkeit mit einem charakteristischen Abstand von 7,4 nm (± 0,7 nm) für 50 % Energietransfer.

Discovery of a First‐in‐Class Covalent Allosteric SHP1 Inhibitor with Immunotherapeutic Activity

A covalent allosteric inhibitor M029 was discovered for SHP1, a novel target for immunotherapy. M029 binds to a cryptic Cys remote from the active site, exhibits robust target engagement, and blocks tumor progression by stimulating antitumor immune response.
