The Miller-Orr cash management model is presented. Every day, if the cash on hand exceeds an upper limit U, enough cash is transferred into a money market to decrease the cash level to a target T. If the cash on hand is below a minimum level M, enough cash is transferred out of the money market to bring the cash level up to the target T.
