Glutathione-triggered disassembly of isothermally responsive polymer nanoparticles obtained by nanoprecipitation of hydrophilic polymers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
The encapsulation and selective delivery of therapeutic compounds within polymeric nanoparticles offers hope for the treatment of a variety of diseases. Traditional approaches to trigger selective cargo release typically rely on polymer degradation which

Catch and release’ cascades: a resin-mediated three-component cascade approach to small molecules [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
The application of a ‘catch and release’ approach to palladium-catalysed multi-component cascade reactions leads to diverse libraries of pharmacologically interesting small molecules in high yield and with excellent ...

An evaluation of a catch and release trout regulation in Rapid Creek, South Dakota

open access: yesAquaculture and Fisheries, 2023
Often, catch and release regulations are meant to maximize a fisheries potential to create trophy fish. I evaluated adult Brown Trout populations at five locations within Rapid Creek within Rapid City, SD over a two-year period.

Baseline on-site information on coastal recreational fishery and comparison with competitive events in Ilhéus, southern Bahia, Brazil

open access: yesMarine and Fishery Sciences, 2021
This study analyzed the profile of recreational fishers on-site in Ilhéus, northeastern Brazil, their fishing habits, and catch composition. Interviews were conducted along the coast of Ilhéus from December 2006 to December 2008 with all fishers ...

Catch-Disperse-Release Readout for Superconducting Qubits [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2013
We analyze a single-shot readout for superconducting qubits via the controlled catch, dispersion, and release of a microwave field. A tunable coupler is used to decouple the microwave resonator from the transmission line during the dispersive qubit-resonator interaction, thus circumventing damping from the Purcell effect.

A catch limitation device to avoid excessive catches in the blue whiting (Micromesistius poutassou) Northeast Atlantic pelagic trawl fishery

open access: yesFrontiers in Marine Science, 2022
Blue whiting (Micromesistius poutassou) is harvested in the Northeast Atlantic by a multinational fleet of pelagic trawlers. Occasionally, vessels take catches which exceed their remaining holding capacity and in extreme cases large catches cause codends

Catch and Release Jurisdiction [PDF]

open access: yes, 2023
In Catch and Kill Jurisdiction, Professor Zachary Clopton sheds light on an increasingly common phenomenon in which federal courts are expanding the power of the federal judiciary in a way that frustrates the enforcement of substantive rights.
