Composition of The Catch of Mini Purse Seine in The Java Sea

open access: yesCoastal and Marine Journal, 2023
Pelagic fish are a type of fish that live in groups, with their habitat in shallow waters or sea level. Groups of small pelagic fish living in coastal waters and juveniles (kids) are known to be more abundant on the north coast of Java, which is a traditional mini purse seine fishing area.

A Chemical Framework for Engineering Extracellular Vesicles’ Biointerface to Advance Precision Therapeutics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are cell‐derived nanoparticles that mediate intercellular communication through their dynamic biointerfaces. Owing to their intrinsic biological functions, EVs have emerged as promising platforms for biomedical applications.

Review of Inorganic Separator Engineering for Next‐Generation Lithium–Sulfur Batteries: Compromise or Cornerstone?

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Inorganic compound‐modified separators transform lithium–sulfur batteries from passive polysulfide confinement to active reaction‐pathway regulation. A Practical Relevance Index (PRI)‐guided framework bridges interfacial chemistry of inorganic separators with practical constraints, establishing unified design principles for scalable, high‐energy ...

Dynamic Mechanical Loading Modulates Extracellular Vesicle Production and Cargo in Meniscus Fibrochondrocytes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Dynamic mechanical loading of outer meniscus fibrochondrocytes increases extracellular vesicle (EV) yield and alters EV composition. When applied to progenitor cells, these mechanically primed EVs modulate the expression of matrix‐related genes.

Assessing spider community structure in a beech forest: Effects of sampling method

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Entomology, 2000
The spider community of a beech forest on limestone was studied for one year using four sampling techniques: emergence traps, pitfall traps, soil samples, and arboreal eclectors. 87 spider species were recorded.

Trammel net by-catch composition in the Bay of Medulin

open access: yes56. hrvatski i 16. međunarodni simpozij agronoma : zbornik radova, 2021
The aim of this paper is to present data on trammel net catch in the Medulin Bay, and to show the ratio of economically important fish species to those that are not, and fall into the category of by-catch. Net deployment was done twice a month, in the period from May to September 2020.

UCST‐Driven Shape Morphing in Digital Light Processing 4D‐Printed Hydrogels

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A DLP‐printable UCST hydrogel based on poly(acrylic acid‐co‐acrylamide) enables reversible thermally induced expansion and 4D shape morphing. Rational control of composition, porosity, and multimaterial architecture enables predictable 4D shape morphing through differential swelling and localized actuation, opening new opportunities for high‐resolution
