Phenol hydroxylation over copper modified ZSM-5 catalysts
Several CuZSM-5 catalysts were prepared by hydrothermal synthesis from gels containing different Si/Al and Si/Cu ratios; methylamine or sodium hydroxide were used as mineralizing agents.

Effect of Catechol Content in Catechol-Conjugated Dextrans on Antiplatelet Performance [PDF]
The surface coating of solid substrates using dextrans has gained a great deal of attention, because dextran-coated surfaces show excellent anti-fouling property as well as biocompatibility behavior. Much effort has been made to develop efficient methods for grafting dextrans on solid surfaces.

True Closed‐Loop Recyclable Hydrogels Enabled by Imine Boronic Ester Crosslinking
Subtle molecular differences in imine boronic ester crosslinkers profoundly influence hydrogel properties. 2‐formylphenylboronic acid crosslinkers form previously undisclosed 3‐amino‐benzoxaborole heterocycles, enhancing elasticity despite lower crosslinking density compared to their 4‐formylphenylboronic acid counterparts.

Surfactants for Electrophoretic Deposition of Polyvinylidene Fluoride–Silica Composites
This investigation is motivated by the numerous advantages of electrophoretic deposition (EPD) for the fabrication of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) and composite coatings and the various applications of such coatings. It is demonstrated that gallic acid

Heterogeneous Oxidation of Catechol
Natural and anthropogenic emissions of aromatic hydrocarbons from biomass burning, agro-industrial settings, and fossil fuel combustion contribute precursors to secondary aerosol formation (SOA). How these compounds are processed under humid tropospheric conditions is the focus of current attention to understand their environmental fate.

Redox‐Confined Interfacial Polymerization Enables Mechanically Robust and Self‐Adhesive Nanofilms
Redox‐confined polymerization of a simple thiol monomer at a water‐organic interface generates robust freestanding films with nanoscale thickness. The resulting disulfide‐crosslinked nanofilms combine high stiffness with intrinsic adhesion to soft substrates, enabling conformal contact with artificial skin without additional functionalization.
