Progress Toward a Portable Artificial Lung: A Systematic Review

Eight portable respiratory assist devices were identified. The CE‐marked MobyBox and the FDA‐approved Breethe OXY‐1 system are in clinical use. Pathogen‐Specific Bloodstream Infections Associated With Tumour Necrosis Factor‐α Inhibitors, Vedolizumab and Ustekinumab in Inflammatory Bowel Disease: A Danish Nationwide Case‐Control Study 2010–2024

In this nationwide study of patients with inflammatory bowel disease, TNF inhibitor use was associated with higher bloodstream infection rates, whereas vedolizumab and ustekinumab was not. Associations differed by pathogen species, and concomitant glucocorticoid use was associated with higher infection rates.
